A well executed memoir
Alex Demilo does a great job guiding the reader through his adventurous life. The book is expertly paced & demands you keeps turning the page to see what happens next. Fellow readers who dabbled in the music industry or were involved in any teenage subculture should find the book very relatable no matter the era. For those who are familiar with South American history, especially the nuances of Argentinian politics, there are some interesting personal experiences that Alex Demilo shares that led me down other rabbit holes I hadn't considered before.

It’s not really a Rock bio, although, yes, it's got all the ingredients — the late nights, the substances, the music, the chaos. It’s a personal account of growing up in the 80s in love with music. Very cool book if you love the 80s, music, travel, and a really good true-life stories - this is a super fun fast paced and fascinating story about what happens to a kid in High School - beyond his wildest dreams. The chapters are short and go from one story to the next which in whole make one great adventure. Inspiring and makes you feel good and want to chase your dreams.

I grew up in the 80s and loved the new wave scene — the music, fashion, and energy of that time. This book really brought that era back for me. What I enjoyed most was seeing life inside a band and experiencing the atmosphere of places like Buenos Aires and Punta del Este through the author’s perspective. It was nostalgic, funny, and very entertaining.
